A live performance by a fine artist has a magical quality that can never be captured on even the finest recording equipment.  Mike Pizzuto is one of those rare performers who can create that magic.  His true art lies in his special warmth and communicative ability, which includes classical, popular, jazz, and folk music.  He is easy with everyone from the most scholarly student of music to very small children.

He has performed with the Chicago, Niles and Rockford symphonies to standing ovations, and his concert and club engagements include Chicago’s Ambassador East, The Breakers at Edgewater Beach, the Pauma Valley Country Club in San Diego, California, and all of the major resorts in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. He also performed for several years at the Terrace Restaurant at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona.  He has a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance from the Chicago Conservatory and has three CD’s of his music currently available.  He does all of his own arranging except for the classics, and currently resides in Scottsdale, having moved there in 1996.

Whether you see him with an 80-piece orchestra, in a small jazz trio or simply as one man with his audience, he is always superbly in touch with his audience, always dynamic and always exciting.  There is a truth and honesty about his performances that will make you want to hear him again and again.
